Thessaloniki X is not a standard scenery, it is a tour de force from some of the most talented scenery designers around. Of course the scenery is accurate but that’s just the technical part, what is far more amazing is how much this scenery ‘feels’ like one of those Greek airports that have calm winters and incredibly busy summers.
There is a huge amount of small objects that prevent the rather common bleak and empty look of many airports in FS. The use of shadows and colors is spot on to give a real 3d sense the scenery. We especially love the way the airport looks at night as the detailed 3d lights add another dimension to an already stunning airport.
It’s how scenery of medium sized airports should be in 2014.

Conclusion by Airdailyx.blogspot.fr:
"It`s the scenery that Mathijs Kok himself hails as the best airport scenery he has seen and like myself, he has seen many an airport scenery in his time. It is the airport I personally hail as my top 5 favorite sceneries of all time. LHSimulations Budapest, FlyTampa Dubai, 29Palms Skiathos, and Drzewiecki Krakow sit on that list. I won`t say who they just bumped but welcome to my top 5 FSDG. That is not an easy list to get on..."

"If you are any kind of flight sim enthusiast you will definitely, without a doubt want to purchase this product. It is easy to see that the developers were very passionate about what they were creating; it shows in the quality of the finished product. I absolutely loved everything about Thessaloniki X and if I could give a product a gold star I would definitely award it to this product."
Conclusion by asn.aerosoft.com (Aerosoft Sim News):
"Thessaloniki X is outstanding. If I was to honor it with stars on scale from 1-10, I would give it 15, simply because it breaks the limit and reach beyond what I expected and have seen before. This is Visionary and skillful scenery design at its best. From time to time we (lucky devils) experience design teams who go the full length and beyond in their hunt for perfection. FSDG have done it with this scenery and I must conclude we get so much more than we pay for with Thessaloniki X. Further, they master new techniques that do make their very sophisticated airports work without knocking down our systems and they do implement and develop new aspects all the time. For the first time, when making my moves around the airport, my eyes caught glimpse of something unusual and that I`d never seen before in my simulator before. I saw that a military Helicopter on patrol was prowling around along the coast, heading for the military installation at the airport. That sight nearly knocked over my chair, and I had to take a cup of coffee to recover..."
Conclusion by mutleyshangar.com:
"Well, with Aerosoft Thessaloniki X you will find yourself completely immersed in an area of outstanding beauty and attention to detail. From the not so lowly trees and shrubs to the overwhelming amount of bespoke buildings, sports stadiums, ancient ruins, roadways, parks, and much more. With the mix of a wonderfully detailed airport and the surrounding city and urban/rural areas, ports and recreational areas, you can not help but feel you are there for real. The development team have completely mastered this airport in a way which no one else has done. With a little tweaking on my part, the amount of detail I was able to retain whilst keeping my frame rates at a more than acceptable level is, I believe, testament to the effort and hard work the team has put in. It may only be approximately 20 sq km, but what an outstandingly amazing 20 sq km it is. I am thoroughly impressed with Aerosoft Thessaloniki X and would recommend it to any type of pilot, be it large heavy tube fliers or the not so heavy general aviation aircraft pilots. I doubt very much you would be disappointed."
